| So...I am finally in Macau, and I am totally exhausted from one whole month of music camps. Positano was a gorgeous city. Actually, I think it is more like a small town because it only has a population of 3000+ people. The beaches were pristine, and the people there were so warm and welcoming. Rome was fun...I guess...but the heat was just totally unbearable and the entire city is a mess. Road signs were unclear and the people I acquainted there were...frankly...not the most intelligent and polite. Most significantly, everything there is way too expensive. You have no idea how much I've spent on buying water. Any how, I must say that Rome is still a beautiful city...but I don't think I would want to go back within the next few years. Shanghai? I am speechless. I am speechless about how the entire thing was organized. I don't think I should go further into this because I can write a book about it. Thank goodness Carol, Feng Feng, Jane, Deli, and new friends Jette and Hee Joung were there. Jette and Hee Joung, please visit us in Vancouver!!
Even though there were down sides to this trip, I still felt very much inspired to play my music. It was SO SO SOOOO incredible to practise, perform, and think about my music in a stress-free environment. Honestly, I don't want to go back to school now. It's not that I am lazy but I just hate it when everything I do has to count for marks...and I really really hate to admit that marks are important....*sigh* Thanks to Iris, Carol and Feng Feng for fun times and memorable experiences in Italy. Thanks Carol, Feng Feng, Jane, Deli, Jette and Hee Joung for being such great companions in Shanghai. Thanks to ICMC Shanghai friends for counting down and celebrating my 20th birthday with me. Thanks to Dr. Eugene. Thanks to Mom and Dad. |
